A weekend in Beaconsfield

I recently visited Beaconsfield for 2 days, I had heard such great things about the area that I couldn’t wait to visit myself! I had wanted to visit the Crazy Bear Hotel for a couple of years; I was so excited that I was finally getting the chance to go.

We started off by having lunch in a quaint little pub called The Swan which was close to our hotel. The food was absolutely amazing, the portions were really generous as well. We had to try and work our lunch off before we went out for dinner in the evening.

We were staying in the Crazy Bear Hotel, we had the most spectacular time. From sipping cocktails by the outdoor pool; (making the most of the nice weather here for a change!) to The Thai restaurant, we loved every minute of it! It was such a tough choice to choose between the two on site restaurants- Thai and British. If I was to go again I would try the British restaurant, as they have a Lobster Mac & Cheese on the menu, which is one of my favourite things to eat! We had the Crazy Berry and Zombie cocktails in the main bar, the Crazy Berry had to be my favourite out of the two. I would recommend visiting the bar even if you aren’t staying in the hotel, it has such a great atmosphere for a night out.

I love dressing up and getting all glam, this was the perfect location for it. I don’t usually wear a lot of black, but I thought as the surroundings were so colourful and crazy in the hotel, I would wear a black dress. You can’t ever go wrong with an LBD! I have a serious shoe obsession, especially patent ones! The shoes I was wearing were so comfortable, I also bought them in rose gold I loved them that much!

We were staying in a deluxe room, and it was just that! The décor was so decadent- leather flooring, crushed velvet padding on the walls and mirrors on the ceiling. Although the room was very dark due to the interiors and the blackout curtains, this didn’t bother me as I love the dark at night and wear an eye mask. I had also brought my portable lighted vanity mirror to do my makeup, so we didn’t have any issue with the dark theme to the room; it just added to the appeal. I would love to go back and try out one of the different style rooms there!

If you haven’t been here, it’s definitely somewhere you should go!
